Cooking Classes

Most visitors enjoy delicious Thai food during their stay in Phuket, but if you would like to learn how to prepare some of the mouthwatering dishes you can sign up for a cooking class to learn some of the local secrets. Courses range from a basic introduction to give you a basic taste of Thai cooking, all the way to classes for the experienced cook who wishes to gain experience to greater depths.

The knowledge of Thai cooking is a souvenir that will last your entire life and enable you to re–live your Phuket holiday on the rainiest of days. Thai cooking courses are taught by highly experienced and well–regarded Thai chefs who can teach you about ingredients, techniques and the all–important balance of flavours. Cooking classes in Phuket are available all year round.

KATA THAI COOKING CLASS, by Sally (Kata):

Kata Thai Cooking Class runs daily with options for a Lunch Menu or Dinner Menu, and this varies from Monday to Saturday. Sunday classes can be run on special request for parties of 4 guests or more. The menu is a selection of Thai favourites and each option is the preparation and cooking of three dishes. The Lunch group takes approximately 2 hours, and the Dinner group is 4 hours, as this includes a local market visit, giving you the added option of am insight into every day local Thai life.

PHUKET EASY THAI COOKING (Rawai):

Located a few minutes drive away from The Villas, Phuket Easy Thai Cooking offers daily half day (3 main meals + home made curry paste + dessert) or full day courses (6 main meals + 2 kinds of home made curry paste + dessert) . Each course is around 3 - 4 hours and includes a visit to a local market. Thai Cooking Class runs daily with options for a Lunch Menu or Dinner Menu, and this varies from Monday to Saturday. Classes hold a maximum of 10 students in a traditional Thai open kitchen, led by certified Thai cooks. Pick up can be arranged from The Villas and there are options for vegetarian and Halal dishes.

Cooking Classes run daily with options for a Lunch Menu or Dinner Menu, half or full day. Sunday classes can be run on special request for a minimum of two guests.
